Reminder of Mobile irrigation unit
we have deemed it an “abnormal course condition”, and free relief can be taken under Rule 16.1:
Interference under this Local Rule means that the player has:
• Physical interference,
• Line of sight interference, or
• Both physical and line of sight interference.
The Committee says that physical interference is the water, the Parrot unit and the hose.
So, take relief using common sense, backwards on line with the green, or sidewards, both options drop the ball within 1 clubs length of your chosen spot, no nearer the hole and out of the water range!
If the ball hits any of the equipment you must play it as it lies, and take free relief from that point if needed as per above.
