Dear Members,
Ahead of the second round of the John Wright this weekend, all members are advised of immediate changes to competition entry procedures.
An envelope containing payment for four entries, witnessed being placed in the wooden box last Saturday, has gone missing. This is a serious matter. As a result, the following rules are now in force and must be strictly observed:
1. All competition entries and payments must be deposited in the metal safe only.
2. Cash or Visa payment is accepted.
Visa payments may be made at the shop (during opening hours) or at the bar.
When paying by Visa at the bar, the card slip must be enclosed in a completed brown envelope and placed in the metal safe.
3. The wooden box is no longer to be used for entries or payments under any circumstances. It is for scorecards only.
CCTV footage is being reviewed to establish whether any irregularities were recorded.
Your cooperation in following these procedures is required to safeguard competition entries going forward.
Regards,
Steve Beckham
Competition Secretary
