Central Sevens Match Report
Great bounce back league win for the men
After the disappointment of last weekend’s defeat at the Hillman Trophy final, the Central Sevens team bounced back with a convincing 5.5 to 1.5 home win over Feldon Valley. Hinksey Heights is now 2nd in the league with one game to play.

There were some convincing wins for Stephen Finn, Gavin Wheeler and David Buckle whose win has put him top of the league’s order of merit in which 103 players have played this season.

All the other matches were very close, with wins for Hinkey Heights fashion icons Christian Harvey and Neil Smith. Andy Venney got a good half and Ian Cox put up a good fight but lost his match.

The last match of the year is away to the top of the league team, West Berks 2 on the 18th October.
