The day started early this Sunday with Players and Caddies registering at 7am at Corhampton Golf Club for the finals day. They were drawn against a great team from Jersey, Les Meilles, in a close contest we managed to win enough games to get us to the final, already a great result. The Final was played after lunch against Bramshaw.. The team set off in age order..... Almost!! With Oakley Evans leading us out and the skipper Graham bringing up the rear. At one point it looked like we could actually take the win but unfortunately the team from Bramshaw held fast and were strong in the last few holes. But runners up in a competition with 65 entries from all over Hampshire is a fantastic result for our little club. Corhampton GC put on a great day and looked after us all amazingly for the whole day. I know the team would like to thank you all for your support throughout the competition and those that made it to Corhampton for the finals.. who knows next year.. Well done to Skipper Graham Way, Cliff Evans, Matin Lawrence, Gavin Evans, Stuart Bearman, Jack Milne, Perry Evans and Oakley Evans. You all done us Proud!!! UTB
