Week commencing Monday 06 October, a contractor will be on site to carry out the annual verti-draining of the fairways. We anticipate the work will last three days.

To keep within the time frame, and more importantly for Health & Safety purposes, individual holes will be closed whilst the work is being carried out. Reasons beyond our control may see the work carried over into a fourth day but we hope this is not the case touch wood.

House

Starting on Monday 06 October, we also have stage one of the clubhouse flooring being completely revamped, starting with the Bunker Bar and Corridor areas. The Ladies Locker Room will be starting Tuesday with work ongoing back at the other end of the clubhouse Wednesday. This is the first time these floors have been changed for a long long and will be a much needed upgrade for these areas.

The Car Park has some planned Tarmac resurfacing work planned for Wednesday 08 October to finally sort out the ongoing holes / problems at the entrance and exit of the car park.

We are working with the contractor to keep an entrance / exit and as many spaces as possible still available to members. As a backup we are liaising with Meols Hall over some overflow parking on their lands. We will clarify this further next week after a site meeting.

These works are essential and for ongoing club / course improvements and there is never an ideal time to carry these out without some impact on our members. However we appreciate your ongoing support and understanding with matters like these.
