Following recent course conditions and ongoing winter management planning, we would like to provide the following updates.
Buggy Use
From this point forward, buggies will only be permitted for members who hold a registered medical certificate.
If you require a medical allowance and have not yet registered, please contact the Club Office during working hours and we will be happy to arrange this for you.
Course Care and Roping
We kindly ask all members to respect all roped-off areas throughout the course.
Where possible, please keep both buggies and trolleys to the designated paths and avoid the surrounds of greens and tees.
Your cooperation helps protect the playing surfaces and supports year-round course quality.
Contractor Works – Starting Next Week
Contractors will be on site from Wednesday to begin a series of improvements, including:
Installation of a new main drain on the right hand side of the 14th fairway
Construction of a new land path and drainage system around the 12th tee
Building up two tees to improve playing surfaces and durability
Bridge repairs in several locations across the course
These works are an important part of maintaining and improving course playability, especially through the wetter months.
We ask members to please be patient and respectful while these works are in progress. Our aim is to ensure we provide the best possible playing conditions all year round, and your understanding and support are very much appreciated.
Thank you,
Vicars Cross Golf Club
