The second round of the Winter League proved to be another thrilling contest, with some excellent golf on show despite the damp conditions. Congratulations to brothers, Jordan (Pieminister) and Nathan Cotterell (most athletic), who claimed first place with an impressive 43 points. Hot on their heels, Ben Massey and Jack McCallum secured second place with 42 points, edging out 3rd place on a card playoff. In third place, Richard Durgan Smith and Peter Curtis Brown put in a strong performance to round off the podium. Well played to all participants, and we look forward to seeing everyone for the next round.

The Winter Stableford Competition was played in cool but crisp conditions, with all competitors putting in a commendable effort. The overall winner was Jonny Roberts, who posted an impressive 39 points to take the top spot on CPO. In Division Two, John Aspinall matched this score, earning 39 points and securing the divisional honours.
Other notable performances in Div 1 for prizes included Nick Lea with 37 points, Andy Hunter with 36 points, and both Trevor Brennand and Brad Williams also recording 37 points each in Div 2. Congratulations to all prize winners and participants for making it a successful winter event despite a lot being away in Wales golfing. This most likely our last qualifier of the year.
