AUTUMN VINTAGE TEXAS SCRAMBLE

On a mild but damp day last Friday, 80 members played in this year’s Autumn Vintage Scramble. The scores were extremely close with only four decimal points separating the four prize winners.
The winners with a net score of 55.5 were Martyn Seal, Paul Fox, President Richard Barker and Simon Walker
Runners up with a net score o 55.6 were Mel King, Mark Dutton, Brian Armitage and Madeline Ellis
Third with a score of 55.8 were John Brookes, Tim Bryning, Dave Camp and Alan Webster
Fourth with a score 55.9 were Melanie Walker, Steve Hathaway, Norman Ellis and Alan Harris
Our thanks go to all those who ensured the event went smoothly, particularly Michael Bunney and his team for the great condition of the course, Dave Mee and his team for ensuring everyone started on the correct tee, Paul Price and his team for the lovely refreshments and lastly, but by no means least Hannah and Mark in the office for setting up the competition and dealing with all the changes in the days before.
