New HDID App
The new app will be bought by the club for all members to download
Recently, HowDidIDo reported that they would be launching a new, improved version of their app. The down side was that it would no longer be free. You should have received a message about voting for whether we should buy this at club level and then charge each member £3 for it (as an addition to their union fees bill). The benefit of this is that it gets everyone the ad-free version, which would cost £9.99 if purchased individually.
The votes are in and there is a large majority in favour of the club buying it.
So the important message is: DON'T BUY IT FOR YOURSELF! It's not available until mid-January, but soon after that we will send out info to you all about downloading it for free.
The votes are also in for the questions we asked about divisions for competitions. We will be trialling fixed divisions but not increasing the number of divisions (and reducing the size of prizes). The full details of all of these results will be reported at the AGM on 14 January.
