Junior Christmas Jumper Florida Scramble 2025
Well Done to all our young Golfers
A great turnout for the last junior competition of the year on Tuesday 23 December…..it was soooo cold!

Twenty seven young golfers in their Christmas jumpers joined in the fun competition. They were bravely supported by parents and guardians, who accompanied them on the extremely windy and bitterly cold course.

It wasn’t too long before they were back in the clubhouse after completing the nine-hole competition, enjoying the company and warmth.

The winning team of Harley Clements, Max Leuty and Red Pinder came in with a score of 22.7, just ahead of the second team of Riley Finch, Robin Greaney, Olly Biss and William Lowe who achieved 22.8. That was close!

Everyone who entered received a prize, except for Loki Pinder, who received two because he won the ‘best Christmas jumper’ prize as well.

Sully Darby, who was unable to attend the junior celebration event earlier in the year, received his trophy from Duncan for winning the 18-hole stableford competition held during the summer. Well done Sully.

Frankie Waller, also unable to attend the celebration event, was awarded his Super Six winners medal, as part of our successful team who are the North Suffolk Champions.

Well done to all of our young golfers, their families and our fabulous supporters. We have achieved a great deal this year, and have so much to look forward to in 2026.

There is a great team behind you which includes Duncan, Oli, Stu and volunteers, who are on hand when needed. The Richard Hunt Foundation does so much to help our section and has been a major part of our success.

Thank you to all concerned and, see you next year.
