Men's 4BBB Results
76 members took part in the Men’s Fourball Better Ball Stableford competition on Sunday. This was the first time we have offered men the option to play from either the white or yellow tees in a weekend competition.
Unfortunately, a software glitch meant that handicaps were calculated from the white tees only. While this has only affected four players who chose to play from the yellow tees, it does mean that the results displayed on the Club V1 app and HowDidIDo are incorrect.
Our software providers, Club Systems, are actively working to resolve the issue, but unfortunately it has not been possible to do so in time for the publication of the results. As a consequence of this, I have manually processed the competition, and the correct results are attached to today's latest news email.
Congratulations to Rob & Hayden Poole on winning the competition with an excellent 44 points. Dickie Burt & Chris Jenkinson finished second with 41 points, narrowly beating Gerard Cashman & Dave Chalmers on countback.
