A Very Warm Welcome to Our New Course Manager – Steven Hulme
We are absolutely delighted to announce the appointment of Steven Hulme as the new Course Manager at Falkirk Golf Club, joining us on 2nd February.
Steven brings with him an exceptional depth of experience, knowledge and passion for greenkeeping. He has spent 28 years at Murrayfield Golf Club, where he has been Head Greenkeeper since 2012, alongside more than 38 years working within the profession. His career journey — from trainee through to leadership — speaks volumes about his dedication to the craft and the standards he sets.
Our Greens Convenor, Ian Murray, has met with Steven several times throughout the recruitment process and is incredibly excited about what Steven will bring to our club and course. His experience, thoughtful approach, and clear passion for course presentation and development made a lasting impression from the very start.
Over the past month, Steven has visited the club regularly, walking the course many times — most recently with his wife and family. Today, he shared how happy his wife was to see just how excited he is to begin this next chapter, which really says everything about the pride and enthusiasm he brings to his work.
Steven is very much looking forward to working alongside our existing greenkeeping team and continuing the excellent work already being done, while also shaping the future development of the course with care, expertise and vision.
