Dust off your greenest golf gear and grab your lucky charms! We are thrilled to invite you to our upcoming St. Patrick’s Waltz, a team event designed for strategy, camaraderie, and a healthy dose of Irish luck on the fairways.
Date: Saturday, 21st March
Format: Betterball Stableford "Waltz"
Team Composition: 4 Players per team (Any combination of Men & Ladies)
Cost: £8 per player
How the "Waltz" Works
In this format, the number of scores counting toward your team total as you move through the course:
Holes 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16: Count the 1 best net score.
Holes 2, 5, 8, 11, 14, 17: Count the 2 best net scores.
Holes 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18: Count the 3 best net scores.
The Famous Halfway Stop
We know the real reason many of you sign up! To keep your spirits high and your swing smooth, our halfway house will be serving:
Our Famous Homemade Sausage Rolls: The local legend returns!
Traditional Irish Beverages: Enjoy a taste of the Emerald Isle to help you power through the back nine.
Coffee on Arrival: To get you fuelled up and ready for the first tee.
Prizes to be Won
It’s not just about the craic; there’s glory on the line:
4-Ball Vouchers for the top teams.
Nearest the Pin honours for those surgical iron shots.
How to Book
Tee times are available on both tees from 8:00 AM to 9:48 AM.
Booking opens on BRS at 7:00 PM on Friday, 6th March. Between the competition and the lure of those sausage rolls, these slots will vanish faster than a leprechaun’s gold!
Please be aware of the following: Fairways, Flexible, Country, and Overseas Members will be able to book 7 days in advance from the 13th March. Additionally, Restricted Members will be required to pay the standard guest rate green fee to play in this competition.
