Competition fees - Men's Section
Dear all.
Recently, the Men’s Section Committee voted for an increase in competition entry fees.
These fees cover several costs including, but not inclusive of:
• Terminal screen and software costs (howdidido, etc)
• Trophy and board updates
• Food discounts for members at Christmas cracker/captain's day/presentation evening, etc.
• Stationary
The fees for the terminal and software have increased by more than 50% over the last two years, and other costs by varying amounts, but competition entry fees have remained static.
As a result, competition fees from April 1st, 2026 will increase to:
• £7 entry - up from £4
• £2 2’s pot - unchanged
• £1 - Captain’s charity (where 50% goes to a randomly drawn player that beats the captain’s score
We, as a committee, hope you can all continue to enjoy the competitions.
