Captain's Drive-In
Booking going live Sunday at 6pm
Captain's Drive-In booking goes live at 6pm this Sunday 15th March.
Format is an 18-hole Mixed Stableford off the White and Red Tees.
There are prizes for nearest the pins on the par 3's and a surprise prize 'envelope' for nearest in 2 on the 17th! (Thanks to Dave Owens - genius!)
There will be a mini-raffle on the day - Main Prize being a Family(2 Adults and 2 Children) ticket to a Warrington Wolves home game - but don't let that put you off - there's some booze, a 4-ball at a decent local course and some tat to win too! Hey, it's all about having a go and supporting the Captain!
Also, don't forget on the day that you need to fill in the card for where the Captain's ceremonial Drive-In will finish. Traditionally we have had A, B, C & D. Where the dividing lines are the middle of the Fairway and the 150yd post. This year we are exploring the printing costs attached to having A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I & J to incorporate the fishing ponds, the trees right of 1 and the 18th Fairway! (Will confirm before the day!)
So get on at 6pm on the 15th, pick your own time and pick your own 4-ball. It's a Singles Stableford so you can play with your mates rather than worrying about finding good golfers!
Captain's ceremonial drive-in will take place at approximately 1pm - so anyone out early that fancies cheering themselves up after a bad round should hang around!
We'll film it anyway! Obviously the worse it is the more likely we are to post it to the socials!
