The Clubhouse was well attended after the competition with food, a few tipples, a quiz, karaoke and prize giving hosted by Mr President. It was poigniant to remember former President, Captain and long standing member Eddie Lindsay who passed away earlier in the week. The family donated a bottle for the players to raise a glass part way round and remember Eddie. He was often the honourary Irishman at the St Pat's Day event he so enjoyed attending and playing.
The competition was won with a tremendous 50 points by Deb Truscott who finish just ahead of Cyn Hammond. Paul Taylor managed the remarkable feat of finishing 17th (with 17th March being St Pats Day) for the second year running and claim the prize of a bag of spuds! Mrs Taylor has been quoted as saying that it is the most useful prize Paul has ever won!
Congratulations to the winners and thank you to all who participated to make it a great day. Roll on St Georges Day!
