Two Pauls win the green jackets!
Paul Chisholm took the division 1 honours and Paul Wright won the division 2 group.
Saturday day one saw 83 players battle against the elements. Only two players in the field breaking the par on a tough day.
Division one leader on the day was Ian Stewart with a gross 77 for net 73. A birdie at the 12th for Ian helping him to a one shot lead from Chris Forbes. Chris with a very impressive back nine of 34 shots with birdies at 12 & 18 in his gross 75 for net 74. A further shot back and in the hunt were Jim Davidson and Kevin Brunton.
Division two saw the only players to break par with Paul Wright carding a gross 78 for net 66 three shots clear of Craig Telfer who carded a gross 94 for net 69. A further four shot back were Gordon Munro and Alex Crossley.
A shorter field of 44 again took on the weather as well as the course on day two. Only one player beating par and also took the green jacket, Paul Chisolm with a fine gross 69. Paul with gross rounds of 78 & 69 for a 147 total and three shots clear of second placed Stuart Tidy 79 & 71. Stuart edging out Ian Stewart on a countback. Ian with gross rounds of 73 & 77.
Division 2 was taken by Paul Wright who backed up a fine gross 66 on day one with a gross 77 for a 143 total. This was seven shots clear of second placed Alistair Milne with steady gross totals of 75 & 75 for 150 total. Third place going to Gordon Munro with gross rounds of 73 & 78.
