Most of you got the card well written to make my life easier. And everyone remembered 2 signatures. Now a requirement at the club for any team comp.
Before I post the results. We have had two teams who came within the top 3 who did not qualify to win due to 1 or all of the team members not meeting the criteria for major and honours board comps. As the season is well under way please read the competition rules regrading honours board comps and major comps. The documents section in the app has all info in there. Comp booklet, rules and more. Take a read to get full knowledge of comps at WPGC. Newer members particularly, although you should have received a members welcome guide when you joined, advising to have a read.
So, some good scoring coming in again. A tricky format and Mark called this a choker to see who doesn't want the medal ball on the harder holes. Calling it before you play each hole shows who has the nuts ha ha. A good format picked by Mark.
Taking victory with a score of 126 is Steve Wilde, Paul Wilson, Jerry Poole and Geoff Russ. Well in fellas and we will sort your team open prize soon.
Taking 2nd & 3rd were two teams who did not meet the qualifying criterion to win a prize. Both teams only had one player who qualified.
So taking 2nd place with 128, is a fourball who are all very good mates, Nigel Edwards, Scott Taylor, Ian Brooks and our very own Mr President, Paul Price. Nice to see you back playing Brooksy. Paz did they carry you?????? ha ha.
3rd went to Paul Gordon, Julian Hollies, Malc Sawkins and John Watson with 129.
