Divot Bags are here!
Along with repairing pitch marks and raking bunkers, replacing divots is one of the most important rules in maintaining a healthy golf course. However, some divots break up and are not replaceable - so we have introduced Divot Bags. These small black bags contain a mixture of sand and seed.
These are available outside or inside the sign in room (depndant on weather), and MUST be returned to the sign in room after play.
We recommend that every playing group takes a bag and shares it as needed along the way. Please ensure you fill as many divots as possible (not just your own) and finish with an empty bag.
With 40 bags in play at least once a week, we should see a significant improvement in the amount of seeded divots.
REMEMBER: A ball MUST be lifted from a seeded divot, without penalty.
