Ladies Howlett Smith v Caister
Ladies victorious in first leg of the Howlett Smith
The ladies played the opening leg of the annual Howlett Smith match against Caister at home and produced an excellent performance.
Despite the challenge of assembling a full team, 10 ladies took to the course and played with great determination against a side known for its strength and experience.
Played in fine conditions, the course was in excellent shape and provided the perfect setting for a competitive and enjoyable match.
Afterwards, everyone enjoyed a wonderful lunch in a warm and friendly atmosphere, and attention now turns to the second leg in September, when the team will travel to Caister looking forward to the next challenge with a 3-hole lead.
