Kirk Rosebowl Medal

Fine May weather saw a huge field of 146 take part in latest Kirk Rosebowl.
In the Division One competition saw a tight competition with three players Greg Dymock, Stephen Barkey and Steven Johnston in a card play-off.
Greg edged out the others with two halves of 36 for gross 70. Birdies coming at the 4th & 16th.
Stephen took second spot with equal halves of 37 with birdies at 11 & 13. Stephen will rue the triple bogey at the 17th hole.
Greg won £16.90 for first place in the sweep and Stephen picked up £9.10.

In Division 2, saw Andrew Cruikshanks take top spot by two shots from Martin Sweeney.
Andrew was out in 42 before returning in 37 for gross 79 net 66 helped along a birdie at the 14th .
Martin was out in 42 before returning in 41 for 83 gross, net 68 with a birdie at the 9th hole.
Andrew won £41.60 for first place in the sweep and Martin picked up the £22.40.
In Division 3, saw James Lawson take the win with 82 gross net 66 beating Tony Lang by two shots. Tony beating Gary Philip Sabiston and John Stewart in a card play-off.
James went out in 42 and returned in 40 with birdies at 1, 11 & 15.
John went out in 44 and returned in 41 with a birdie at the 3rd.
James won £31.20 for first place in the sweep and Tony picked up £16.80.
Five players managed to record a birdie on the 15th hole and each take home £22.08 in the 2’s sweep.

Neil Hogarth also carded a two but was not entered into the sweep. One other players missed out on a 2 due to DQ.
