Cranworth 2nd Round Defeat for Gorleston Ladies
The Cranworth team travelled to Diss on Thursday to play Royal Worlington
In the second round of the Cranworth County Knockout .
The weather was appalling and all six games were played in heavy rain from the start to the finish.
Unfortunately we lost five games to one, however this does not reflect the fight and determination our team displayed.
Outstanding performances from Kinza Ellis and Jenny Watson must be mentioned as they were both in a good position to bring a point home when they were called in as an overall match result had been achieved so they were awarded a half point each.
My thanks to the team and caddies for battling on despite the awful conditions and for the team spirit they demonstrated representing Gorleston Golf Club in the best possible light.
