June 15 – Ladies B2 Team The B2 team travelled to Otley and had a lovely afternoon with a great bunch of ladies playing a beautiful course. June 15 – Ladies County Foursomes Regional Finals 9 pairs of Bedale ladies headed to Cleveland to join another 76 couples in the regional finals. Course was in great condition but proved very tricky especially the greens. Congratulations to Sally Hunt and Rachel Holden who finished 6th and Patricia Knox and Sharon Wilkinson who were 8th. Both pairs now head to the finals at Wetherby on August 13th. Good luck in the finals! June 18 – Ladies White Rose Team Unfortunately another loss against Baildon today at Bedale. The match was played in the right spirits but ended in a 3-2 win for the away team. Serena Lishman, Sandra Caygill, Claire Retchless (c), Pat Richardson and Kath Tate. June 18 – Ladies A Team Unfortunately a 3.5—1.5 defeat for the A team. Beautiful sunny day. Lovely group of ladies. Gorgeous but extremely challenging course at Meltham. 3 of the matches were decided on the 18th so closer that the result suggests. Well played to Sally Hunt, Rachel Holden (c), Pauline Morris, Emma Poulton-White and Kathleen Allison. I would like to thank all the ladies who have played in the A team matches this season. We have played some super courses and met some lovely ladies. The season ends with 3 wins and 3 loses.
