Dear member It has been another busy week at the club and I think it's fair to say the lovely sunshine we have had recently has played a major part in that. We have certainly seen the effect of the short spells of rain as well. The course is beautifully green and an absolute pleasure to play. SENIORS OPEN Another successful annual Seniors Open this year. Again, a gorgeous day weather wise definitely helped to keep spirits high, and there were some superb scores. Before we get to the scoring however, a quick mention for Kevin Hughes who is this years seniors captain. Kevin worked hard along side the staff to ensure a great day was had by all. He set up a fantastic raffle with great prizes and raised approximately a fantastic £1200 for his chosen charity Alzheimer's Society. Also a massive thank you to all our volunteers for the day, you really helped not only speed up play, but also helped raise money for Kevin's charity.
