The Men's Club Championships took place over two rounds on Sundays 28th June and 5th July, with the event being generously sponsored again by Chapel Down. 46 players played in both rounds, with a further 27 competing in just one of the rounds. As in previous years, both the Scratch and the Handicap Competitions were very keenly contested, with prizes for the Championships overall, plus for both individual rounds. In the Scratch Championships, the winner and Club Champion was Mark Archer with a gross score of 161. In second place was Ian Slatter, and in third place on countback was Victor Pilipovich. Both Ian and Victor scoring gross 162. In the Handicap Championships, the winner and Club Handicap Champion was Trevor Southby with a net score of 136. In second place was Harrison Crawley with a net score of 139. And in the Over 24 Playing Handicap Category, the winner was Jeriah Pepper, with a leading score of net 147.
