Security
A number of unfamiliar faces have been reported around the club and in the car park recently. Also, some clubs in the region have been the target of potential and actual break-ins during recent times.
What can we do?
Please be aware of security when you are at the club, taking easy-to-manage precautions, eg:
* Close external doors (and don't wedge them open);
* Challenge unfamiliar people [politely at first] to identify themselves, making a mental note of descriptions, places and times;
* Notify staff or committee members as soon as possible if you notice anyone acting strangely or suspiciously.
We should all be vigilant to protect the safety of our staff and members and to secure items of value in the club.
