August 20 – Rabbits v Knaresborough Another successful days golf for Bedale Rabbits at home against Knaresborough in the return leg of our biannual friendly. 6 pairs played some classic Rabbits golf along with much friendly banter. The scores on the day were Bedale 3 ½ pts, Knaresborough 2 ½ pts, making the overall after home and away legs, 7 ½ pts to Bedale and 4 ½ pts to Knaresborough. The Bedale course played really well - Ashley and his team doing a sterling job after the heatwave, followed by heavy rain. The clubhouse hospitality after the match was also much appreciated by everyone. All in all, this was another very enjoyable & successful Bedale Rabbits “team” day.
