Congratulations to Barry Kay, who has been crowned the 2026 Monthly Medal Winners Cup Champion at Hawkstone Park Golf Club. The prestigious competition was played from the White Tees over 18 holes and brought together male members who had qualified by winning a Monthly Medal in their respective division during the preceding 12-month qualifying period from January to December. The Monthly Medal Winners Cup is an 18-hole Strokeplay competition, played in a single division for players with a 0–24 playing handicap, providing a fitting finale for the club's monthly medal programme. Barry produced a determined round, returning a gross score of 84, for an impressive performance in a competitive field. His scorecard included some excellent golf, with a particularly strong finish to the round, as Barry came home in 44 after going out in 40.
