Men’s Handicap Team Take Control in County League Semi-Final
The Hawkstone Park men’s handicap team continued their excellent run in the County Handicap League with a superb 4–2 victory over Llanymynech in the first leg of their semi-final.
Played in dry but beautiful conditions on the Championship Course, the team produced another impressive performance. Strong teamwork, patience and determination were key as Hawkstone built a valuable lead to take into the deciding away leg.
With everything still to play for, the team will now travel to Llanymynech for the second leg on Sunday 30th August, with the first match teeing off at 10:00am.
The team will be hoping to finish the job and secure their place in the County Handicap League final.
