Following yesterday’s final two matches in Division 2 of the Scratch League, South Staffs have been confirmed as league champions.
Drayton Park Golf Club finished runners-up and will also be promoted into Division 1.
This means the Scratch Team have now achieved four successful promotions, winning the respective leagues on all four occasions.
We would like to thank all the players who have represented the team this year, as it has been a fantastic team effort with some excellent results along the way.
We would also like to thank the members for their encouragement and support throughout the year.
It is fantastic for the club to now be back in Division 1.
Kind regards,
Rich & Tom Hewitt
