Back in August, the WHS course rating team from Cheshire, completed their assessment of the Course, covering all of the tees. This was part of the cycle of mandatory course reviews that are conducted over a 10 year cycle (i.e. every course is reviewed once every 10 years) Whilst we have only had our rating for around 6 or 7 years, it was our turn on the rota to be reviewed. Since the review has been completed, Chshire Golf have sent their report to England Golf and we are waiting for the results and new certicate and ratings to be sent to us. There are a number of rumours running rife at the moment as members are aware of what has happened at other clubs and whilst we expect the ratings to change and the slopes to be reduced, that is NOT necessarily the case and we will have to wait until the results to be retuend, when the changes will be published and new signage will be made available.
