Airdrie Golf Club
George Taylor
Dear Members
I have the sad duty to inform you that Honorary Member George Taylor passed away peacefully this morning at Monklands Hospital.
George was a highly valued and lifelong member of the club, having first joined in 1961. He played in the Gents Team considered to be one of the best in the club's history and he added value to the club in other ways, such as managing the garden area at the front of the clubhouse.
His legacy at the club remains significant and long-lasting through his family who have been champions, captains, officials and sponsors through the Family Foursomes.
Our heartfelt sympathies are with his family and close friends.

Club Secretary
