Ladies Team Flags Competition Tuesday 6th October 40 ladies took part in the Ladies Team Flags competition on Tuesday. Congratulations to Bridget Samuels, Susan Doughty, June Salt and Sophie James, who won the competition with an excellent score of 86 points. Second place went to Debbie Fenton, Susan Crossen, Nicola Holton and Edwina Beresford, who finished with 83 points. Well done to all the ladies who took part. Pinecone Clearing Work Party – Thank YouA big thank you to all the members who kindly gave up their time to help with our Pinecone Clearing Work Party on Monday 28th September.Your efforts in clearing pinecones, pine needles and other debris from beneath the trees around the course have been greatly appreciated.It was wonderful to see members coming together to support the greenkeeping team, particularly during such a busy week of course maintenance.Thank you once again to everyone who helped. Your time and efforts really do make a difference to the presentation and upkeep of our course. Divot Party – Monday 12th October, 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm A reminder that our rescheduled Divoting Work Party will take place on Monday 12th October from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm, and we are still looking for additional volunteers to lend a hand.We will be concentrating our divoting efforts on the areas of the course most in need of attention, while other volunteers will help the greenkeeping team fill some of the sunken drainage channels.The greenkeeping team will be working alongside everyone, organising volunteers into groups and providing guidance throughout the evening.As a thank you for your efforts, sausage and mash will be served in the clubhouse afterwards.Thank you to everyone who has already volunteered.
