Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming 21 teams of ladies from golf clubs across the region to our Ladies’ Autumn Open. We were blessed with a beautiful, sunny autumn day – perfect golfing weather! Following a 10.00am shotgun start, everyone returned to the clubhouse to enjoy a delicious meal, plenty of chatter and lots of laughter. We also had a fabulous golf clothing pop-up shop, which proved very popular, with lots of lovely new outfits purchased! We held a raffle in aid of LOROS Hospice, raising a fantastic £250+ for this wonderful charity. A special thank you to Sylvia, Janet and Liz for all their help organising and running the raffle. Prize Winners We had beautiful hampers for our 1st to 4th placed teams, along with three nearest-the-pin prizes. A huge congratulations to our overall winners from Branston Golf & Country Club, who achieved a magnificent 90 points! A special mention must also go to our fabulous catering team, who looked after everyone so wonderfully throughout the day. Your hard work was very much appreciated! And finally, a massive thank you to Mark and Hannah in the office, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly. Hannah even went above and beyond by doubling up as a waitress! It was a truly lovely day, filled with great golf, friendship, laughter and generosity.
